A monthly commitment offers greater flexibility if you need to cancel licences at short notice. It may suit your business if staff regularly join or leave.

An annual commitment is paid in full upfront. It usually costs less than paying month by month for 12 months. Once purchased, the commitment is non-refundable. You can remove a licence from one user and assign it to another, but you won’t receive a credit for any time the licence is unused during the commitment period.

You can upgrade your licence during the commitment period. Any upgrade charges are calculated on a pro-rata basis.

Once upgraded, you can’t downgrade until the commitment period ends. Microsoft requires a change to be to a higher-value product to count as an upgrade. For example, moving from Exchange Online Plan 1 to Microsoft 365 Business Basic is an upgrade. Moving from Business Basic to Exchange Online Plan 1 is a downgrade, so you’ll need to wait until your commitment period ends.

As your managed service provider, we recommend limiting administrator access unless you need it for a specific task. This helps protect your account from unauthorised access and reduces the risk of accidental changes to your settings.

If you need something done, our team can assist or complete the task for you. We can also grant administrator access on request. If changes made using that access cause an issue, and our team was not at fault, charges may apply to investigate and fix it.
